How does a tree inspection work?

Tree inspection is a specialised field that requires experience and expertise. During a tree inspection, we assess a number of key factors, including:

Visual inspection: The tree specialist begins with a thorough visual inspection of the tree. This includes assessing its overall condition, bark, branches, leaves and any signs of disease, pests or damage.

Health assessment: The specialist evaluates the health of the tree by examining factors such as leaf colour, size and shape, as well as any signs of disease or stress.

Structural assessment: The tree specialist evaluates the structure of the tree, including branch attachments, any cavities or cracks in the trunk, and its overall stability.

Root zone inspection: In some cases, the tree’s root system is also examined. This may involve soil sampling or ground investigations to assess root health and condition.
